The ketubah is a Jewish marriage contract. The
ketubah expresses the bride and groom's spiritual
commitment to one another. In it, the bride and groom
promise to take care of each other and to make a Jewish
home together. The ketubah includes the date and
the place of the wedding and the Hebrew names of the
bride and the groom.
