On Monday, June 15th, Behrman House officially closed on our agreement with URJ Press, giving us the right to publish and sell 222 URJ Press titles. Today we shipped our first URJ Press orders!
The transferred titles include the Mitkadem series, the entire Parashat Hashavuah series, the majority of the titles in the Chai curriculum, plus many other titles. A full list of the titles you can now acquire from Behrman House is here. These titles can be purchased through Behrman House by phone, fax, or on our website.
We continue to work with the URJ to get clear permission on the remaining titles and we will continue to update our cleared list daily.
If you placed an order with the URJ Press on or after June 1st, the order will be transferred to Behrman House before June 30th and we will ship all those materials we have permission to sell.
Books are still arriving at our warehouse from the URJ Press distribution facility. In addition, before the closing URJ Press also ordered reprints of materials for which stocks were running low and those titles are due in soon. We are entering books into our inventory system each day, making more and more stock available to ship. If you order something for which we do not yet have in stock, we can back order that title and it will ship automatically as soon as we have it on hand. You will not be charged for it until it ships. We continue our commitment to 24 hour shipment of in-stock items.
