Top Tweets from URJ Biennial
Written by Becca Friedman, 22 of December, 2011#URJ Biennial
Even though I couldn’t go to the Biennial this year, I almost felt like I was there. Thanks to twitter and all of the twitteratti. From Jonathan Woocher’s stunning use of technology to energize his speech on education to President Obama’s speech, I was able to keep up with all of the happenings at the biennial.
In addition to the play-by-play, I also got to LOL at some of the tweets. Here are some of my faves:
@ellen987 Not every day you see someone walking down the street with a torah #URJBiennial
@lisacolton Just spotted: woman in satin Santa dress and hat, with luscious red velvet heeled boots walking into massive Jewish conference. #urjbiennial
@mstreiffer Interpretive havdallah dance. Now that's something you don't see every day. #urjbiennial
@rabbijason @behrmanhouse @darimonline #WowGreatAdviceFromDarimOnTheSubjectOfShortHashTags #jew
@barkinj Hmm. @BarackObama or @TerryKaye RT @behrmanhouse DEMONSTRATION @terrykaye is about to start her Online Learning Center preview #URJBiennial
@sholomrav #urjbiennial Tweeting about people tweeting about people in line to see Obama.
@DavidBehrman Shout out by Obama to Hineni, with correct translation. Referring to @behrmanhouse Hebrew series? #edsummit11 #jed21 #URJBiennial
The pictures that Terry, Mark and David brought back are fantastic. Check them out here! Are you in a pic? Please tag yourself!
