This week Behrman House welcomed the very much awaited shipment of half of the over 400 URJ titles to our warehouse.
As we stock our shelves and finalize the new URJ product pages on our website, we can start to focus on planning for the future of these heritage materials. We are adding the URJ Press titles to our website, creating pages with cover images and descriptions for each. We’ve got two interns on the case. URJ Press will keep their website up and running for 18 months after closing, with links to the Behrman House site, to help people find what they need and also to give us extra time to migrate all the great support materials over to our site as well.
We now expect to close the week of June 15th. Obviously this is later than we originally thought, but it still allows plenty of time to get you the materials you need. Shipping orders in one business day remains our commitment. Until actual closing, all orders must be placed directly with URJ Press. Some titles may not be immediately available after the closing as the URJ obtains final clearances on its publishing contracts. Those titles will be clearly marked on the website.
