This past summer the Online Learning Center gained some new features to better suit your classroom needs, including this secret feature for a quick and easy head start to setting up your classrooms.
As part of the changes we made to the OLC this year, there is a small, secret new feature for you to get a head start setting up your OLC classes even before you purchase your licenses!
While setting up your classroom, when it comes time to choose the learning software simply select 'None'. You can even select the students and teachers assigned to the classroom!
When you come back to edit the classroom after purchasing the software licenses, it will assign a license to any teacher or members in the class who are in need of a license for the software when you save the class.
Don't forget! Once you have picked a software, it is not possible to change the learning software for the class. (And remember, there are great ways to use the Online Learning Center even without our great learning software. You can create online discussions, upload videos, use the free Hebrew practice tools, even use your own materials, all at NO CHARGE!)
