With the release of the new 2014-2015 catalog we wanted to recap our newest materials and review some recent favorites to help you get a head start on next year's planning.
We've introduced two new courses that use journals to help guild young learners and explore environmental dilemmas and reflect on the values in our holidays using the new student journals, Our Place in the Universe and Jewish Holidays, Jewish Values.
Students can improve their prayer fluency and understanding--all while having fun playing Hebrew games and puzzels with the Kol Yisreal Funbook. The Funbook was designed with flexibility in mind. Students can use it individually and at their own or in pairs and small groups.
Also from the Kol Yisrael series comes the new Batya's Bubble app. This free game and practice app lets students hear, practice, and record eight blessings and prayers from Kol Yisrael volumes 1, 2, and 3 on iPad. Kids and adults are able to record themselves while reading, chanting, or singing the prayers and blessings and have the option to email the recordings to anyone.
Engage students in prayer with Visual Tefillah, a series of beautiful and throught provoking PowerPoint slideshows to supplement Kol Yisrael and Hineni. Prayers are broken down line-by-line with text in Hebrew and Englush alongside dramatic photographs illustrating the meaning/intention of the words.
Now get your program rocking with the new Jewish Rock Radio curriculum, Jews, Technology, and Rock! Facilitators need no music skills to implement the curriculum. With this 26-page curriculum facilitators have everything at their fingertips, including links to music websites, Youtube music videos, and song lyrics. It is available now in the Resource Libraries.
Keep students up to date with the most interesting and relevent stories of Israel today with lesson plans from the ISRAEL21c Teacher's Edition. Each volume is organized around seven themes: environment, social action, people, health, culture, technology, and travel. Now you can easily integrate ISRAEL21c into your classroom using the new Teacher's Edition Summary Packet.

This series introduces students to sixteen of the most important--and sustaining-- values of our tradition using a workbook/journal format that invites student reflection. The series is designed to be used in four units over two years for grades 4, 5, or 6. Each four-value unit is available separately to allow flexibility to fit into your program.
Establish a foundation for lifelong Jewish engagement with the Building Jewish Identity series. The Building Jewish Identity series introduces students to core knowledge that is essential to developing a strong Jewish identity. The series is designed to be used in four units over two years for grades 3, 4, and 5. Each volume is available separately to allow maximum flexibility to fit into your program.
Guide students in the values we find in text study with volume one of The Explorer's Bible. As one of our most popular Bible resources for elementary grades, it gives students the opportunity to explore the Bible as Jews have done for centuries--by pondering, personalizing, and wrestling with the text. The Explorer's Bible will help you transform your classroom into a lively Bible study group. If you are already using volume one of the Explorer's Bible, we invite you to try the animated lessons that go along with it to help students apply these values to daily life with the Animated Series.
