New Certificates Feature Israeli Art
Written by Behrman House Staff, 13 of July, 2015Featuring artwork from the renowned Israeli artist Rinat Gilboa, these elegant and charming certificates are the perfect way to commemorate and celebrate transitional moments.
Pairing traditional quotes with contemporary images, each of our new certificate enhances the occasion: The words of Ruth on the certificate of conversion reflect a commitment to a new people, while on the certificate of consecration children fly kites among a swirling alef bet symbolizing their joyous involvement in scenes of Jewish education.
The bar and bat mitzvah imagery suggests a path to responsibility, with the Torah as the guide, while the graduation certificate reminds the recipient that wisdom comes to those who learn from everyone. A love and connection to Israel is also highlighted within each certificate’s artwork, which include symbols such as pomegranates, the seven species, Jerusalem, and olive trees.
