Joan Carr Receives Distinguished Educator Award

Congratulations to Joan Carr, Behrman House curriculum specialist, winner of the Distinguished Educator Award from the ARJE!

Joan has more than 35 years experience as a Jewish educator in a variety of roles. The announcement this week at the annual gatheing of the Association for Reform Jewish Educators caught Joan by surprise, and was celebrated by her family and her Behrman House family via videoconference. 

We donned party hats and showered Joan with candy (real candy, virtual shower) in celebration of her well-deserved honor.
