Hot Topics: The Presidential Job Interview
Written by Behrman House Staff, 26 of October, 2015What qualities do you think voters should look for in a presidential candidate?
As the country prepares for the 2016 presidential elections, the Pew Research Center surveyed Americans to find out how the general public views presidential traits.
In the first lesson of the new Hot Topics series, students can discuss important Jewish values that we should look for in our leaders and conduct job interviews to look for examples of these values in the lives of our presidential candidates.
This new resource will help students:
- Students will explore ways in which Jewish values help make good leaders.
- Students will find examples of how they demonstrated these values in their own lives.
- Students will evaluate the current presidential candidates based on these values.
You can download Hot Topics: Election here.
Each Hot Topics edition includes an article, a lesson plan for a 50 minute class, and a glossary of terms. A new topic will be available every two weeks for $3.99.
