Hot Topics: Dealing with Iran
Written by Behrman House Staff, 22 of January, 2016Iran has earned its reputation as a terrorist state and enemy of the West. How should the international community deal with Iran?
U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu don't see eye to eye about the international community should deal with Iran's nuclear program. In the latest Hot Topics, students will learn about the history of relations between Iran and the West and apply the Torah's models of conflict resolution to the current political situation.
In Hot Topics: Dealing with Iran, students will be able to:
- Understand some of the issues in the debate over how to deal with Iran
- Look closely at biblical stories of conflict
- Express their own conclusions in a letter to either President Obama or Prime Minister Netanyahu
Hot Topics: Dealing with Iran will be available for purchase beginning February 1 in our Resource Libraries.
Each Hot Topics edition includes an article, a lesson plan for a 50-minute class, and a glossary of terms. A new topic will be available every two weeks for $3.99.
