Coming Soon: Cross-Device Hebrew Programs, Thanks to YOU
Written by Behrman House Staff, 14 of December, 2015We regularly host usability testing sessions to get an outside perspective on how our website and digital materials are working for you. This week our testers reviewed two new cross-device programs - and did we learn a lot!
Earlier this week we tested two of our upcoming products: Hebrew in Harmony, a music-based prayer curriculum, and Shalom Hebrew! Online Learning Center Edition, our new cross-device primer.
We got great feedback from our testers.
About Shalom Hebrew! OLC Edition:
With the soon-to-be-released Shalom Hebrew! OLC Edition, students will be able to journey through the pages of Shalom Uvrachah - our bestselling Hebrew primer - where vowels talk, letters dance, and students can swipe words across their screens. The program complements our entire Shalom Uvrachah collection, including Shalom Uvrachah Express and Shalom Hebrew!
Packed with engaging features, interactive reading exercises that can be recorded and reviewed by educators, and more than a dozen Hebrew games, Shalom Hebrew! OLC Edition makes learning to read Hebrew fun AND enjoyable. and best of all, your students will be able to use it on their mobile devices as well as their laptops.
About Hebrew in Harmony:
Hebrew in Harmony is a three-year Hebrew program for 4th-6th graders that harnesses the power of music to engage students with prayer.
Long used to beautify the words and act of prayer, music creates a safe and welcoming environment rich with opportunities for learning. Rooted in music, Hebrew in Harmony encourages students to create meaning from personal prayer and make emotional connections through communal prayer. And the flowing words help students learn Hebrew through the music.
Do you want to preview our new digital materials and test new apps? We are always looking for testers to help us try out our new ideas and create stronger materials. Later this winter we will also be seeking beta testers for this brand new way to teach and learn Hebrew.
Our next usability test will the first week of February. Contact us today and let us know you want to help!*
*We are especially looking for testers in the NY and NJ area who can get to Springfield, New Jersey for the day.
