Avoid Reckless Caution!
Written by Behrman House Staff, 11 of March, 2015![](http://www.behrmanhouse.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/news_image_big/caution%20long.jpg)
Last week David Behrman shared with the Association for Corporate Growth NJ the history of evolving Behrman House from a print-based publishing business into the digital world.
A recent blog post by Sobel Co. picked up a great piece of Behrman's presentation - leaders who are prepared for constant reinvention are typically the ones who continue to drive their organizations forward.
Behrman also noted that some leaders are too cautious.
"Excessive caution can hold you back," says Behrman, "Just as putting your money in a mattress prevents you from earning interest."
How can we apply Behrman's presentation to our lives in Jewish education?
Are we learning from our experiments?
Are we open to new things?
Or are we being too cautious?
