Authors of Farmer Kobi's Hanukkah Match to Sign Books at New Jersey Barnes and Noble
Written by Behrman House Staff, 06 of December, 2016Warm up for the holiday season with the award-winning authors of Farmer Kobi’s Hanukkah Match, Karen Rostoker-Gruber and Rabbi Ron Isaacs.
Farmer Kobi’s Hanukkah Match follows the story of Kobi, a farmer living in Israel. Kobi lives with some kind and courteous goats, donkeys, and sheep who eagerly wait upon Polly, Kobi’s Hanukkah guest. But what happens when Polly is disinterested in Kobi’s animals and their hospitality?
Find out on December 18 at 11 am at the Somerville Barnes and Noble in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The authors will sign copies of their book, which was a finalist in the National Jewish Book Awards, and lead children in a variety of Hanukkah-related activities, such as playing games, winning prizes, making crafts, singing songs with Rabbi Ron Isaacs, and listening to Karen Rostoker-Gruber tell the story of Farmer Kobi’s Hanukkah Match with her puppet, Maria.
