FIrst Meeting- August 31st 2010
Posted by lisam on August 30, 2010 at 09:20 am
Our first meeting is scheduled for August 31, 2010 at 1:00 pm EDT. We look forward to welcoming Rabbi Jeffrey Schein as our guest presenter at that time. Please read Chapter 2 ( attached ) from Growing Together: Resources, Programs and Experiences for Jewish Family Education edited by Jeffrey Schein and Judith S. Schiller and think about the following two questions in advance of our meeting.
1.Aytzah (advice) is most meaningful when it has real hochmah (wisdom) behind it. What did you see in your read of the chapter that remains a valuable reminder about the work of Jewish Family Education?
2.Where should the field find itself in 2015? What contributions can a Community of Practice make to the further evolution of JFE?
