The Questions of Pesach
LESSON AT A GLANCE - Students will review the Four Questions of Pesach and discuss some of the traditional answers to the questions. After studying a text on the obligation of seeing oneself as having been freed from Egypt, students will then be asked to think of slavery and freedom in a modern context. They will then research modern-day forms of slavery and freedom from slavery and develop questions related to their research that can be discussed at the Seder table.
OBJECTIVES - Students will review the Four Questions of Pesach and some of the traditional answers. - Through a text study and discussion, students will explore the theme of seeing oneself as having been freed from Egypt. - Students will research and present about a modern-day form of slavery or recent freedom from slavery.
