The Technology: Compare Countries
IfItWereMyHome.com is a country comparison tool where students can compare living conditions in one country to those of another. Choose any two countries in the world and find out how they compare to each other in terms of electricity use, life expectancy, employment rates, wealth, number of babies, and more. Click on any of the fact buttons for more information and a link to the original data source. The site also offers an overlay Google map showing the size of one country in relation to the size of the other and a section with more information and recommended reading about the countries.
